April 2011

Finally, it is nice enough to get to work on the El Camino. Here, Dani is grinding out some of the rust areas and applying some rust inhibitor to neutralize it so we can start some glassing and other bodywork.

Joe & Cathy took in a Rockford Ice Hogs game.

The old trailer that was under the '76 Glastron is the better trailer for our '79, so it was time to clean it up and repaint it. It turned out looking like a new trailer. We had a great time flying the boat in the garage while we changed them out.

We were VERY proud of Dani as she participated in the annual Gong Show at the High School. She played one of her classical piano pieces and sang a song that she wrote with her friend, Bradley, as he played guitar.

The motor came off of the boat so that the transom could be repaired and painted.

Molly's favorite day of the year came, and we were home to let her enjoy it. The city flushed the fire hydrants and she couldn't get enough.

We sold the '58 Glass Magic this month to a couple from Tulsa. The new owners were very excited. This is the boat we restored last year.

We are down to the seats in the interior. Here, Joe is attaching foam to the seat forms.

To pay tribute to the Royal Wedding, Cathy had a Royal Workout with her Workout Warriors group.
